The Why Files The National Science Foundation's WHY Files.  This site treats - with equal parts humor and accuracy - everything from mad cows to volcanoes, from Mars exploration to antibiotic-resistant microbes, the WHY files explore the science, math, and technology lurking behind the daily headlines.
Project Greenskate HERE@UW (Health and Environmental Resources for Educators at the University of Washington) was created to prepare grades K-12 to make informed decisions about potential health risks from chemicals in the environment.  Includes Project Greenskate, which introduces concepts of toxicology
NIEHS National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences teacher support pages.  This excellent site is jam-packed with information about teacher workshops, programs, and curricula developed or funded by the NIEHS.
The EPA Student and Teachers page contains information for grade levels K-12, as well as college students. It is designed to educate students and teachers about Superfund and hazardous waste. Included are classroom activities, frequently asked questions, information on environmental education and grants, and more.
University of Arizona's Biology Project University of Arizona's Biology Project  -  a marvelous online interactive tutorial.  Learn about kidneys and metals, toxicology and lung toxicology.  Includes problem sets and tutorials, activities, and links.
EE-link  -   an excellent site maintained by the National Consortium for Environmental Education and Training.  It includes professional and classroom resources and information about grants and jobs in EE.
National Environmental Education Advancement Project The National Environmental Education Advancement Project  -   a national organization which aids state and local EE leaders in promoting their educational efforts and develops informational items on building state capacities.  It is located at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
North American Association for Environmental Education  -  a network of professionals and students working in the field of education throughout North America and in over 55 countries around the world.  Since 1971, the Association has promoted EE and supported the work of environmental educators.
The Globe Program The GLOBE Program (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment) brings together K-12 students, scientists, and teachers from around the world to learn more about the global environment.
Center for Chemical Education  -  includes an array of products and services that emphasize the hands-on, minds-on nature of science for all ages.
Water Education for Teachers in Texas, sponsored by the Caddo Lake Institute.  The goal of Project WET is to facilitate and promote the awareness, appreciation, knowledge and stewardship of water resources.
