Activity 2: Brain Disease - Bringing it close to home.

Brain or spinal cord disease, when it affects friends or relatives, is sometimes too "close to home" and too painful to talk about. But for those who can share their experiences, there is a social benefit and the opportunity to make learning more personal and relevant. Other students could be assigned a disease topic and called upon to explain its symptoms, cause (if known), and treatment. |

Describe the Disease or Condition
According to instructions from your teacher, share with the class or your study group a description of the symptoms and consequences of a brain disorder. Where appropriate, act out its symptoms.
