Sea animals are different from land animals in the amount of fat they have under their skin.  In this activity, students will see how sea animals have adapted to their environment.
Materials
Pair of small rubber gloves

Pair of large rubber gloves

Duct tape

Shortening (such as Crisco)

Spatula

Bucket filled with ice and water
