The purpose of this activity is survey different aspects of an ecosystem and investigate how all aspects of the ecosystem, living and nonliving, effect each other.
Materials
A computer or other source to check wind speed, wind direction, and temperature.

Compare two different ecosystems from either your backyard or on the school ground.  Remember that an ecosystem is a group of organisms that are interdependent and the environment they live in and depend on.  This can vary from an entire forest to a pile of dead wood.
