Title: Math and Interior Design
Description: In this activity, students explore area, perimeter, and volume by building miniature apartments in shoe boxes. They find the amount of wall paper and carpeting they need, calculate the amount of space various decorations will take up, and then calculate how much trim is needed to go around the different shapes.
