Title: Geometric Nets: Feeling Flat?
Description: This lesson will help the students understand how to calculate the total surface area of simple geometric 3-dimensional figures by relating them to net models. They will also use a polyhedron construction kit to build polyhedra, design and recognize different nets for them, and compete for the most original design.
