Teacher's Request: The Nash County Drug Prevention Foundation will fund creative teaching projects for the 2004-2005 school year that enhance drug and alcohol prevention. Each school is invited to submit a grant proposal. I teach 7th grade science which mentions drug and alcohol prevention in our study of the systems of the Human Body. Where can I search for resources to come up with an idea for a proposal? Guidelines: 1. Projects should directly involve students as much as possible. 2. Interdisciplinary or team-teaching projects and those that involve different age groups are acceptable. 3. Grants will be selected from projects that demonstrate creative teaching and benefit students with incentives for behavior modification. Thank you.
