Livestock Reproduction Males and Females Reproduction in livestock varies from species to species. Each species has a unique reproduction specialization that allows them to succeed in copulation, conception, and birth. It is important to understand the differences between genders and species and their needs for the animalís health and safety. This lesson will covers in depth and with a lot of detail the reproductive systems of cattle, sheep and goats, pigs, and horses both male and female covering important terms, major organs, primary hormones and touch on the reproductive system of the cat and dog. Included in this lesson plan are skeleton notes for male and female reproduction for students to fill in during the presentations and a quiz and bingo game!
