Airsoft & Paintball: The fun, danger, and physics behind combat sports.  This PowerPoint presentation gives an overview of airsoft and paintball gun use, addressing some of the history and physics of both as well as safety issues and possible injuries. 
Alcohol and Intoxication  This activity is designed to get students to understand a few important concepts about alcohol and intoxication with a worksheet at the end. 
Alcohol Fermentation  This activity is designed to show students how fermentation occurs. 
All About Engineering  This is a general presentation about engineering. It is a great way to introduce students to the field and help them to know how math and science can be used. This presentation could also be used to open up a discussion about career choices and future goals. 
All About Scientific Journals  This PowerPoint is informational and is meant to address scientific journals and articles, as well as introduce students to how do construct a scientific (laboratory) notebook. 

The PEER Program is composed of three grants entitled "GK-12 Fellows Integrate Science/Math in Rural Middle Schools", "Integrating Environmental Health Science in Rural Schools," and a Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) entitled "Science Promotion in Rural Middle Schools".
