Title of Presentation or Activity Description
Diagnosis  This activity is an online/computer-based activity that allows students to “play doctor” and diagnose different patients based on different signs and symptoms. This game is based on our online curriculum module “Delicious Poisons” (link below). Answers on in the teachers pages. 
Dichotomous Key for Texas Trees  This is a dichotomous key for common Texas Trees. It includes color pictures of many Texas trees. 
Diet  This activity is an online/computer-based activity designed to help students learn what foods are healthy and what foods aren’t by picking their own daily meals. 
Digestion Worksheets  Questions and worksheets related to the digestive system. 
Directional Anatomical Terminology  This lesson will present the different terminology used in veterinary medicine to describe locations and joint actions of animals and their anatomy. The activities will apply the material in a fun and interactive manner such as making a paper mache animal to label! 

The PEER Program is composed of three grants entitled "GK-12 Fellows Integrate Science/Math in Rural Middle Schools", "Integrating Environmental Health Science in Rural Schools," and a Science Education Partnership Award (SEPA) entitled "Science Promotion in Rural Middle Schools".
