Title of Presentation or Activity Description
Comparing Plant and Animal Cells  This activity involves viewing plant and animal cells under a microscope and comparing their levels of organization.  
Conservation of Uses or Resources  Throughout this presentation and activity, students will be exploring renewable and non-renewable resources that surround their everyday life. It is important to understand what type of resource you are using and know how you can conserve that resource to make it last longer. 
Conversions and Simple Machines Activities  This document contains a plethora of middle school activities for both conversions and for simple machines. Lesson plans and worksheets are included for some of the activities. 
Crank Up The Volume  This activity was used in an 8th grade class. Students work through a series of fun activities that help to reinforce the properties of sound waves. 
Creation of a Niche  This activity is designed to allow students to observe how creation of a niche (bird feeder) affects the number and kinds of birds in an area.
