Title: An Escape from Bioterrorism
Description: “An Escape from Bioterrorism!” explores the idea of how scientific modeling fits in to the scientific method. This activity is designed to get knowledge and ideas of how bioterrorism could be dangerous and how we can prevent it from spreading. To gain the best knowledge on bioterrorism, students will participate in a hands-on activity to test a simple model of vector-borne disease. Afterwards, the class will discuss the results and its effects to the real world. The entire activity is structured around the scientific method. This activity is prepared with the reference of PEER module “Texas, 1867,” but it can stand alone.

Teacher's Request: Please provide some experiments associated with your Lesson on "Agricultural Bioterrorism" found on your Teacher Requested Resources at I am interested in experiment or activities regarding how bioterrorism would affect the processing of agriculture products for food and the affect of bioterrorism on the food chain from plant to beef, pork, and poultry for human consumption.
